  1. As far as post op diet requirements goes my post op diet doesn't have any carb limit or protein goal.- Only to try to get 60 oz of liquid. I can have strained/pureed cream of mushroom or chicken soup, broth, protein supplemnets, skim or fat free milk with no sugar added instant breakfast, sugar free drink mixes, sugar free popsicles and decaf tea, and 100% veggie and fruit juice.
  2. My dr has me on a full liquid diet for 3 weeks post op. My paperwork says I can have 100% fruit and vegetable juice but cautions to avoid high calorie liquids. I have some no sugar added cranberry juice that is 100% juice, but it has 110 calories and 28 carbs per 8 oz. Seems like that might be considered high calorie. What do you think?? Does anyone have a more precise definition on "high calorie liquids" from their NUT or dr?? Guess I'll be calling NUT tomorrow.
  3. You're beautiful! Good job on the weight loss!
  4. Thanks, I will try that.

  6. Sleeved the 27 th also. Tried some muscle milk but don't care for how thick it is. Think I'll stick to water for a while
  7. I've been doing good too. I took my pain pump "on Q" out this morning. Took gas x strips at the hospital yesterday before I left, rubbing my stomach and walking seem to be keeping the gas at bay. Belching a lot though
  8. Wow. You look like a completely different person!
  9. You look like a teenager in those last 2 photo's! Way to go.

  11. Lucky me, surgery has been way better than I anticipated. No nausea, taking liquids very easily, and walking. Did have some gas in my shoulder earlier and it sucked but luckily it's gone now.
