  2. Hi there Just wondering if anyone experienced massive amounts of hair loss in particular in the shower whilst combing your hair? I am getting married in 3 weeks and I can't stop it from falling out. Taking my Multivitamins. Any advice would be appreciated.
  3. Hi guys Just wanted to get your thoughts on what I am feeling? Feeling really full, rather painful around the stomach area if I place my hand over where my incisions are I can feel something. I am 4 weeks post op, have been walking approx 2.5kms a day, been eating on my soft stage but the past 2 days I have had a zooper dopper because I was craving something icey cold. Have I done harm to myself?

  25. Deano Positive thinking = motivation I can see my singlet very loose on me as per me wearing it before the operation. I also had 2 ventral hernias and gall stones so I do believe I am swollen also and feeling bloated. Thank you
  26. Congrats mel-sleeved can't wait to be on your band wagon keep It up
  27. So is it normal say that the scales aren't showing a loss in weight but I feel like I have lost weight. Clearly consuming no more than 200 calories would do difference and sorry to say this I havent opened my bowels yet.
  28. Hi Dean thanks for the great info. I got discharged this afternoon and just stocked up on some groceries in preparation for the next weeks to come. I'm craving some lunch right now so I'm going to make a nice clear broth Soup.
  29. Hi I'm New to this thread and VST I was sleeved on Monday in Sydney by Dr Talbot and feeling like I'm ready to take on my new life. I was an ex para gastric balloon patient in 2010 removed that this year in Sept as it was causing major pain. would love to hear your bits and pieces on what I should be expecting next as the most I have consumed thanks to my fitness pal is 120 calories and that's just from the jelly, custard, broth, tea so the fluids.

  31. Hi guys Sydney Australia I'm 28 years old Gastric para implant trial balloon October 2010 removed September 2012 lost 32 kilos, 3 December sleeved. Lost 4kg on the pre op diet and was sleeved yesterday Monday 3 December. Felt the 'why did j put my self in this situation' was feeling very regretful but the staff here in st George private have a special touch and re assured of my health circumstances for my future and talked me out of feeling down about it. Severe back pain, first 2 days have not tolerated any of the Soup of Jello other than the small sips of Water and ice. Heat packs are doing wonders and so is having my own room. I know I'm a late starter for you but would love to see an update/photos Rania
  32. Hi there I was operated on yesterday 3 December. Just having my first but of liquids which is black tea and jelly which I can't have more than I've had already. See attached.
  33. Hi there Posting from Sydney Australia. I too am getting the sleeve on Monday 3 December. I recently had the gastric balloon removed and lost 32 kilos however this time around i found it extremely difficult to follow the VLCD diet properly however I do believe from losing that amount of weight doctor shouldn't have problems in getting through to the stomach. Your advice?
