25,000 all in. Surgery, pre op and post op. I am using my bonus from last year to pay. Ironically I work for Kaiser Permanente but they won't pay as I don't meet their requirements. So I find it amusing that I am using their money to do it!
If you think about what hair is..it is dead Protein. Now also with the life cycle of what you eat it shows up in your hair three to five months later. So your body undergoes a big shock with surgery and the first 2 to 4 weeks it is a struggle to maintain the protein intake...sooo three to five months after surgery..Tada!!! Hair falls out.
I have not been sleeved yet but my surgeon said what has worked with his patients is starting the Biotin and zinc supplements at the time of surgery so when hair loss hits it is not as bad. I also have fine and thin hair..I plan to just shave it short and own the new me I know I know women obsess about our hair..but between having a new life and losing hair I know what I would choose
Hi all,
I was ready to schedule and then they told me they want me to get a sleep apnea study/test. The surgeons office showed me a flyer for a sleep apnea at home study kit. Anyone ever used one? Easy? Annoying? How much did it cost?
Reconnecting with ex lovers is like going to an all you can eat buffet...never a good idea and you always pay for it later.
Junk punch him to the curb..be the strong and confident woman you are!!!
I agree..use the patches. I quit on Sunday this past week and the patch has been great.
Now I will say keep a lot of gum or sugar free candy on hand. The thing keeping me going is I want my surgery to be successful and quitting smoking is part of that deal!! Hang in there!!
I have Kaiser Ohio..they told me I wasn't fat enough to meet referral requirements. We don't have hospitals in Ohio so all the surgery is done with Network Doctors which of course fists Kaiser money.
I said screw it and am paying for it on my own.
