  6. Hi Everyone. I am new here too. I was sleeved on Halloween. My doctor did not have me on a pre-op diet because my liver was not enlarged. The point of pre-op diet is to lose weight quickly so the instruments can be placed without much obstruction. I am having a hard time consuming enough liquids per day. I cannot tolerate protein drinks so I continue to search for the right one that will work for me. I have people asking me if it bothers me that they eat in front of me. Of course not and I am thankful not to be hungry. One thing that is upsetting - I am so sensitive to smells. If my husband has garlic, I cannot be near him without feeling nauseated. Hopefully this will pass. I wish you continued success in your weight loss journey!
