  2. I am so glad you are doing so well!! It's amazing how fast it went?? How are you feeling now?
  3. Hey Deborah, Welcome to the site. Check out my blog and I go into the detail about what to expect. I personally wanted the sleeve because I need a life long change and the sleeve sounded perfect to me. I did meet people when I was at the OCC that were getting the plication. They said they liked the idea of having a choice. I personally am sooo tired of the up and down and wanted a life change. Hope that helps.
  4. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
  5. Sure, I will give an update soon. Going to board the plane home.
  6. I went with Dr. Ortiz. He was great!
  7. I am at the airport leaving to go home. I cannot believe its done and my journey has started. Crossing the border both ways went well for me. I met tons of fellow sleevers and the staff and Dr. We're all amazing!!! I liked the nutritionist a lot. The hardest part for me was I felt tightness, left side from the drain was sore and I was dizzy off and on. And the first time going to the bathroom was hard because I was so looped up on meds. Each day did get better and as I type this I feel pretty darn good. Low cal Gatorade goes down smooth. Thank you all for your thoughts! Mine are with you as well. Here's to the loser's club soon:) Tami
  8. Thank you all for your support. I get my drain out tomorrow and my leak test. I find it still hard to get liquids down. Just trying to take it super slow. I do feel better than yesterday but still sore on my left side and tired. Hope everyone is doing well! Btw: Dr. Ortiz has such an infectious smile.
  9. I made it to the Marriott and feeling so so. Very tried. My drain is okay not bothering too much. Ate just a little Soup. Going to rest and hope to feel even better tomorrow. Loves Tami

  14. This has been such a great experienced. I got sleeved about 2:00 yesterday. woke up and asked if was done. It was that simple. The only issue I have had was going to the restroom. My left side was hurting. I feel much better now and I do get a little dizzy but they say that's normal. I am very happy thus far! Tami
