I am wondering if it's the insurance company or the surgeons office. I want to hear something on today.

I have anthem bcbs, who does everyone else have?

I called and they say they still don't have the paperwork when I call the pre-cert dept. I am getting a little irritated, my stuff was submittd on last Wed afternoon.

I haven't heard anything today.

I am on YouTube as dreamsleever and on facebook as dreamsleever. Day 5 of 15 today. Not sure how people are getting approved same day or within two days.

My office got mad too and said they had it under control and the Nurse at anthem has to do something. We wouldn't be calling if the surgeons office explained what happens. The surgeons office told me that they've done this many times before. I took it as we've done this before and we have it handled. Anthem will keep telling you it's not in the system until apparently the Nurse looks it over. Sounds like the same thing is going on with us. it's day 4 for is, day 15 I'm going off lol

Have you heard anything? I haven't. This is day 4 of 15. I want to hear something by weeks end.

We've already waited 6 months

This is crazy, not sure why some get approved the same day.

I called and it takes 7~10 days to get in the system

I called anthem and my paperwork was not in the system I will call on next week

I am waiting on insurance approval, paperwork was submitted on Wednesday.

I am slowly learning that we have to be our own advocates. I am glad you kept on it, you'll ne sleeved in no time.

The surgeon's office said it could take Anthem BCBS 14 business days to respond. Now I look at my phone every ten minutes to see if I missed a call lol

The $300 program fee covers unlimited dietician and counselor visits.

This is what happened, I met with the nurse first and she went over some things on my application, a few things on nutrition, and complications. Then I met with the psychologist, she looked over my app and asked me a few questions and then said she approved me. Then I spoke with the dietician, she went over what I can eat for the first few weeks. The program fee allows me to keep in touch with the dietician and the counselor for lifetime, no extra fees.

They also have a program fee of $300, does that take care of all the appts?

I have Anthem BCBS and I finally completed the 6 supervised diets that were required. I have an appointment on tomorrow to meet with the dieticia, the nurse, and a do a psych eval, what can I expect at this appt?

I am saying the gallbladder thing too. Not sure when I will tell folks the real deal.

Cas, do you have any Co_morbidities

I am not telling everyone. I've told two people at work and my friend and family. If anyone at work asks me if I had it done, I will deny it lol.

I am trying to do in March hoping that all goes well. I still have to see the nutritionist, nurse, and psychologist.
