Have a good time OD Did you figure out how to exercise with the cast yet?- mr nice guy has left the building! The fat lady has sung. Adios
Yes. Personally I feel the big problem with the Mexico forum is it is mostly shameless promotions of certain doctors either by coordinators or people trying to get referral bonuses. Also people pushing certain doctors and issuing dire warnings about the other doctors. It's worse than a used car lot with a bunch of desperate salesmen hanging about... Every time I see a new person here trying to do research I feel truly sorry for them because they get a slew of people (always the same ones) jumping on them telling them their infomercial, then telling them to pm them so they can "help"- Thinking of moving to pureed foods
You should ask your surgeon these questions... He has his guidelines for a reason and he sounds like he's had a pretty good track record so far..- mr nice guy has left the building! The fat lady has sung. Adios
Perhaps you should find another forum... This may not be the platform for you.- I just had a 20oz gatorade a week postop in 30 min or so....why can you only have 4oz an hour?

Robo I just read your first post on this forum.. Yes binger, I thought so (I am too) I know that eating until pain you are looking for, I was (am the same way) I will tell you now you need to do therapy along with this surgery because binging is dangerous right now, but after you heal it will still be possible to some extent. Eat pain, pain goes away a bit eat again... Please find a good support person.- I just had a 20oz gatorade a week postop in 30 min or so....why can you only have 4oz an hour?

I think yes, if you have concerns, call- I just had a 20oz gatorade a week postop in 30 min or so....why can you only have 4oz an hour?
Well the Costco yogurt wasn't smart... But it sounds like it went right through you! If it where a solid food I would be more concerned about damage. You did not stretch your stomach. Don't look for full right now, you may "feel" it some days early out and you may not feel it others . MEASURE and eat only what you are supposed to.- I just had a 20oz gatorade a week postop in 30 min or so....why can you only have 4oz an hour?
Does your doc say 4oz? If so yes, eat that amount. but in the full liquid stage you will not get that feeling of fullness just yet. That comes more into play when you move up to puréed foods ( when your doctor oks it) Do not stuff yourself that can cause a leak at this point, I do not think you have a leak but you shouldn't be eating to extremes right now (or ever at this point on) like finishing off a container of frozen yogurt.- I just had a 20oz gatorade a week postop in 30 min or so....why can you only have 4oz an hour?
Calm down, at this point you wouldn't stretch your stomach. Most likely you would cause a leak (but don't freak about that either) If you over stuffed yourself. Your a week out? So you are eating full liquids? You should measure your amounts. DO NOT push it until you feel full, your stomach is still numb and most likely you won't feel much right now, plus the restriction comes into play when you eat more of a dense Protein. You are also a man?? I think your stomach will be slightly bigger than a females also.- check up went very well
Wow Jane! That was a great visit. Thanks for posting about your conversation. Definitely more insightful than some of my visits. You know I wondered the same thing about the band to sleeve revisions... From reading here it sounds like they sometimes have a harder time losing the weight. Glad yours went well though. Scary stuff about stretching but I believe it. I can even tell by adjusting my food a couple days a week. - BIG FAT PEOPLE!
