  1. I swear I get at least 50 to 60 grams of protein a day. I was sleeved on 11/20 and my hair is falling out. Is anyone else having this problem? It really is quite upsetting.
  2. 19 pounds away from ONEderland! I feel like the little engine that could. I haven't been under 200 pounds in 7 years!
  3. Holy SH&@ that is a ton of weight! Congratulations! I'm 29 was sleeved on 11/20 and am only down around 40. What ever you are doing keep it up!!!!!
  4. THE SCALE WILL MOVE! I promise I was on a stall for 2 weeks and grew more and more depressed. For the first time in 3 years I am under 230 pounds. The scale finally moved this morning. I was so freaked out I weighed myself at least 3 times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Sleeved 11-20-12 and have lost 40 pounds.
  5. Thank you! After reading other people's post I realize that any amount of weight loss is amazing. We have all made decisions to permanently change our lives and it's great that no matter the amount of weight that we have lost up until this point we are all making positive healthy decisions about what we are putting into our bodies. We were not doing this 6 months ago!
  6. I swear I am going through the same THING! I'm eating anywhere from 300 to 600 calories a day and walking for at least 30 minutes a day during my lunch break and check the scale everyday. It moves so slowly!! I've lonely lost 30 pounds since 11/20. Congratulations to all those who have had tremendous success. Hopefully I will someday soon be where you are.
  7. Does any one know when we can incorporate abdominal exercises back into our routine?
  8. DON'T I REPEAT DO NOT CHEAT! I went to Starbucks to treat myself to some camomile tea, for some reason it just tastes better when someone else makes it. Anyway I say the pretty picture of the holiday brownie cake ball and just had to try it. Never AGAIN with in 20 minutes my head was pounding, I began sweating, and felt like I was going to die! My stomach didn't enjoy the cake ball either and I basically threw my guts up for 10 minutes straight. Moral of the story please heed my advice and abstain from sweets!!!!
  9. Has anyone else gained weight when they went to the soft food phase of the post op diet? I don't understand how it's possible. I'm still eating less then 600 calories a day and walking.
  10. I'm going through the same thing! I've been walking, drinking water, getting in my protein, and have only lost 5 pounds. Was sleeved on 11/20! I guess we have to be patient and trust it is going to happen.
  11. 43 pounds that is incredible! Please take care of yourself and force yourself to drink fluids!
  12. Good morning I know that for myself as we'll as a few others today is OUR DAY! In 15 minutes they start the Iv and soon afterwards I'm taken back. November 2012 best month ever!!

My liquid diet starts tomorrow! i don't know about you but I hope the adrenaline and nerves can help me get through my intense desire to eat everything in sight! The END IS NEAR our wait is almost over!
  17. Congratulations that is soooo exciting!
  18. Hello Everyone, I am so excited to see the positive support that is going on here! I will be having my surgery in Mexico on November the 20th and am unbelievably excited. I am a 29 year old teacher from New Orleans, Louisiana and can't wait to begin my new journey. I have struggled with my weight for the past 6 years, gaining close to 100 pounds. I am excellent at losing 40 pounds and gaining 60 back, this is a skill that I no longer want to be an expert at! I look forward to seeing everyone's progress as we begin this new journey together!
