  2. I was also told to bring my CPAP to the hospital and there it sat, never used my entire stay. You should do what they instruct you to do but it may wind up just being one more thing to carry to/from the hospital:(

My sleep apnea is considered mild but, regardless, the question of whether or not to proceed with the surgery given my having the condition never even came up except to laud the surgery as a potential cure since excess weight is usually part of the cause. Had my surgery 1 week ago and have only used my CPAP once since it felt a little strange (hard to explain). May have to get an adjustment but I'm going to give it some time before I go back to my sleep specialist. Good luck with everything!
