  1. I had my 3 month f/u yesterday (it has been 4 months since surgery 11/1). I've only lost 38 so I am one of the slow losers. I have been in a fluctuating stall for a few weeks now. My dr said I can do a 2 day liquid diet to kick start my weightloss again. He said it will shock my body and get me going. He also said that I must walk everyday. It doesn't matter how fast, just to do a mile everyday. He said that is the key to keep the weightloss going. Overall he said I'm doing great. Sw 220 Today 183 From size 18 to 12/14 BMI from 43 to 35 in 4 months I'm happy with my results and my increased energy. And I am loving to shop now. Lisa

Let's Check In November 2012 Sleevers!

Yay! My stall finally broke after 4 looong weeks. I have lost 3 more lbs (and hope it continues). I am back on the road to success. I did make changes by upping my water and protein intake like others had suggested.

Let's Check In November 2012 Sleevers!

I'm curious to see the plan your trainer put you on. I eat 4-5 small meals and drink my water and shakes with doing 6 flight of stairs every day and haven't budged much since Jan. 2nd. I was sleeved Nov. 1st and am looking for changes I can make to see the scale move a little more. I have lost 38 lbs. My wt at time of surgery was 220 and I am now at 183. I am very pleased with it but would like to see weekly change.

    Cold cereal

I was sleeved on November 1st so I am almost 3 months out but I have been wondering when I can try cold cereal again. Is there a time frame for it?

    Cold cereal

Okay good. I've been a little nervous to try but I tolerate cold milk (2% and 1% lactose free) really well. I do protein shakes with cold milk. So I will try a little. Thanks for the replys.

Let's Check In November 2012 Sleevers!

Hi, I was sleeved Nov. 1st. So far I have lost 33 lbs. I didn't go through a stall at week 3 or 4 like most did but I am surely going through it now. It's challenging right now knowing that I am just not budging but at the same time I am happy with my weightloss so far. I am still learning how and what to eat and how to span out my meals especially when I am on the go. I have gone back to my protein drinks hoping it will help get me moving again. I can't believe I am almost 3 months out already, wow! I see we are all moving at different paces but as I read updates here I am still amazed at how the sleeve is changing our lives for the better and I am not giving up. I am staying positive and letting my body guide me. Keep up the good work everyone! (And I love all the support given here.)
  8. I didn't either but wish I would have. I am in a stall now and could use proof of loss somehow. I came home and measured myself today. Better late than never.
  9. How do you do with salad? I wasn't sure if I should try lettuce yet?
  10. Hello everyone! I was sleeved on Nov. 1st and have lost 33 lbs so far. I haven't had any problems with any food since day one. My surgery and recovery was easy and smooth. The problem now is I have been at a stall for about 2 weeks now. I went back to my protein shakes this week because I wasn't getting in all of my proteins with my meals. I try to drink at least 2 bottles of water daily but I get so full when it comes to liquids. I only drink water because I don't really have the taste for anything else except maybe coffee in the morning. I don't know what else to try. I also started doing the stairs at work this week. 6 flights up and down throughout the day. I hadn't run into a stall until now. So do you think my stall just came later?

    2 Week Post Op Woohoo!

Hi Tatylish, Wow, congrats to you. I am three weeks out tomorrow. I went in for my post op appt early around 10 days and doc said I was doing great too. He said I didnt have follow up again until 3 months. I had lost 20 lbs at that point. I've lost 4 more since then and it feels great. He approved me to move up to puréed foods too and so far have tolerated them good also. I am kind of comfortable just doing liquids so have to make me foods to eat. So far I have eaten tuna, ff Beans, puréed chicken breast, and some mashed avocado. I didn't know we could eat crackers yet though. He said basically I could try anything I wanted as long as I tolerated it well and I followed the stages accordingly. I'm still a little nervous to try too much. Thanks for sharing your list. It helps to see and follow others in the same stage.

    9 Days Post Surgery

Okay. My doctor has clear liquids down for first two days then full liquids with protein shake for two to three weeks. They are different then.

    9 Days Post Surgery

Hi, I'm new here but am 6 days out and thought I'd reply. I am on full liquids with protein supplement and was told by my physician to start it on day 3. I know everyone is different though. Were you told why not start it? I think that the protein is helping me a lot.
