  1. I am two weeks post-op and know exactly how you feel. I had never felt anything close to depression before and almost went to the doctor about it. I was almost to the point of being "emoitioanlly overwhelmed". I am feeling much better this week and have been checking in at work and will return next week. The thing that helped me when I felt blue was walking and listening to music while walking. I do know that after this experience that next time somebody tells me they are blue or depressed I will know exactly how they feel. It does get much better, hang in there!
  2. Just joined had my surgery on Oct 8th and all went well hoping the best for the future. Dr. moved me to pureed foods and can't wait to get back to a normal diet and back to work. Reading others post have been a big help and does offer some answers. Anybody else from Iowa I would love to hear from you!
