The Bear checking in: six days until surgery. My personal physician cleared me for surgery, the check for the doctor has been surrendered, I am pre registered at the hospital, and I am still not to thrilled about the catheter being shoved into mr happy..... But, excited to get this done. I was the Fat kid and suffered (until l learned to beat the shmit out the first instigator and the rest would leave you alone) my weight has made me strong, determined and one of life's fighters, bit I am so eager to say goodbye to it!!

Oh well just frigging great!!! So some nurse is going to play Zigfred and Roy with Mr Happy then make balloon animals in my bladder. Surgery is now five six days away...!!!!

After having lived pn one meal a day and two pprotien shakes for six months. I was placed on a new diet by the new doctor's dietician for two weeks before my preopt classes. I was given five four fruits and two starches and two yogurts daily. I protested, saying that was too much food. I was assured there would be no problem. I gained six pounds in three weeks. Now, I am told I have to lose the six pounds in one week are the doctor may postpone my surgery. I hope the two week preop diet with just meat, milk and raw leafy veggies will work. Wish me luck!

Hello Good Friday November sleevers. Thank you all for the kind words and support. Life has returned to "normal" (I am fibbing, I would know what normal is suppose to be if it reared it's head and bite me on the arse.) I just finished the psychological evaluation necessary for my insurance company. (humorous because I am a counselor and therapist and could do my own evaluation.) My coworker did the evaluation for free, but charged me 100 bucks not to disclose "everything". On to preop preparation class next week. I hope is going well with your pre opts as well!! Go sleevers!!!!

I am ready, all my life I had to shop in the HUSKY section that hand only three shirt stlyes and pant made of petro by product that cost 140 dollars . All can invasion is a smaller ass in jeans from Walmart!!

Thank you Fyre and James. My partner left to return to PA because he was homesick and felt I would change. I do not foresee myself making radical behavior changes. (I am easy going Cajun bubba). My fear is losing my feeling of power as a leaner man. "the man's room" thread had me intrqued regarding increased libedo !!! This will be interesting to watch unfold. (where the heck is the spellcheck?)

Woof! Okay my bear brothers, the surgery is scheduled for Nov 20, 2012. After jumping through the hoops for a year to have this surgery, I was given the surgery date on Monday and Tuesday evening..... BAM... My partner of 4 years decides to leave. I lost an astonishing 360 pound in just one day of pre opt dieting. Is the surgery going to decease my girth and my growl? Did you have to deal with your buds being envious? Did you lose strenght, and do the cubs like you leaner and meaner? (This is a little different kind of weight loss story as my sexuality has always been about my beefy size, I want to live longer and be heather but I loved being a bear!)

Hello, my name is Guy, but everyone calls me Bear.now there is a clue about my lifelong struggle with my weight. I am 49 years old and I live in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. My surgery is Nov 20, 2012. I have been jumping through hoop for a year to have this surgery, and right when I am scheduled to have it... BAM.. My partner decides to leave. Ha!
