  1. I have a lot of air in my stomach, too. Water gives me heartburn. I have been drinking milk and decaf tea. I noticed warm drinks work better for me, so the decaf tea helps with fluids. I take pepcid for the stomach acid & it helps. Drinking milk, however, has been my saving grace. It both calms my stomach & provides fluids and Protein. I hope that helps. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. 2. I understand completely! I am starting to get all of my protein from food! The shakes are now only for emergencies or fast breakfasts. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
  3. I have started to eat protein several times a day. I can't handle just eating 3x a day. So, I have a little snack or a glass of milk between meals. It helps my hunger. I have two rules, though: no eating in front of the tv or in front of the computer. I'm more satisfied if I pay attention to my food & appetite. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
  4. I recently tried the banana. It was good. I use birthday cake the most. Didn't like the strawberry. I haven't tried any of the chocolate kinds. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
  5. At least we know we're not alone. From reading lots of other posts, this seems normal at 3-4 weeks out. Perhaps it's our bodies freaking out and going in starvation mode. I'm thinking of calling my NUT to see what she says. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
  6. I was sleeved Oct. 15. I was sore for at least two weeks. I still am at times when my pants hit the wrong spot. I'm still rather bruised in spots. It took a while to get my liquids in. The first week was rough, but it got easier. I'm still having trouble with liquids. Sometimes Water gives me stomach pain. I'm not sure why, but it is weird. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. 7. No. It is possible that I'm just not drinking enough water. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
  8. Yeah, I suppose. It was morning, but then today my scale was out of batteries, so maybe it wasn't working properly. I don't think I'll weigh myself until I go to the doctor's again next month. I'll just keep doing the program. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
  9. Yes, I hated the protein shakes too until I found About Time. It's awesome! I do add plain greek yogurt to it to cut down the sweetness, but it's not bad. It's also high in protein so I only need 1 or 2 a day and I have enough protein. You can get samples on their website for cheap. I like banana. I'm eating steamed fish and beans this week. Next week I can introduce new foods. I'm excited. I think I'll stop writhing, too. My scale is out of batteries anyway. I can tell my weight loss has slowed & I even gained a pound this week. I hope it starts going the other way again soon. Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy

  11. I'm on soft foods. I'm eating cottage cheese, beans, eggs, tuna, and protein shakes. I am struggling to drink enough water. I sip all day, but hardly make a dent. What are you eating? Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
  12. I had my sleeve done Oct. 15. I was doing well, but this week I gained a pound. I'm so bummed out! I'm doing everything I'm supposed to, so I don't get it.
  13. OK. It's my turn to be frustrated. I gained weight this week. GAINED!!! What the heck is going on? I'm doing everything I'm supposed to, but I gained a pound!!! Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy

  16. This has been fairly easy. I'm sick of protein shakes, though. They're so sweet! Sleeve date: Oct. 15. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy
