  1. Uh-oh... you better not have just cursed me!! lol
  2. Our grocery bills have gone down a HUGE amount. I can't imagine it going up when you are eating such a tiny amount of food!
  3. I must be a weirdo - I really liked mine but haven't had one since I was able to start on regular food.
  4. I realize how irritating this post may be to anyone who is struggling to lose, so forgive me in advance. I had my surgery about 5 weeks ago - 9/11. I'm 5'9" and was 262 on surgery day. One month later, on 10/11, I weighed 232. So, 30 lbs. lost in the first month. I've lost 6 more lbs. since that, for a total of 36 lbs. in 5 weeks. Is it possible to lose too quickly on this or is it "the more, the better?" I am eating what is recommended in my packet from the surgeon - I have 3 meals per day, a meal being around 1/4 cup of Protein. I do get hungry sometimes in-between meals and at night before bed but it's not overwhelming. Drinking plenty of Water and although I'm not getting high-impact exercise, I am doing 45-60 minutes of casual walking per day.
  5. The only information I have is from my doctor, of course, and all doctors give different advice - But according to mine, eating every 2 to 3 hour is too often. I was on liquids (high Protein shakes only) for the first two weeks and had 2 ounces (only) 4 times per day. Once I moved to foods, I was told to space my meals at least 4 to 5 hours apart. I would check with your surgeon, if I were you.
