  3. My progress is great outside of sipping on everything I have been coming along great I went to the nail salon I did take 2 weeks off work but I will be returning Monday. The nurses and staff at Methodist were great they encourage you to walk and helped me so much the only thing I hated was the pressure cuffs on my legs ugggggh I wanted them off so bad I started walking immediately just to have them removed now 20 lbs lighter
  4. Thank you so much for this post I literally thought someone brat me up my shoulders were killing me and I had no idea why now I can chalk it up to gas I don't have gas in my stomach its in my shoulders I use the gas X strips it sooths a little hopefully it will pass
  5. I was sleeved October 25,Dr Gorecki is awesome if you have any questions he answers them right away I'm glad I choose him as my surgeon
  6. If anyone is in Brooklyn NY and looking for a bariatric surgeon look up Dr Gorecki. I was sleeved on October 25 and I could not have had a better surgeon and his team are GREAT Methodist hospital in Brooklyn is awesome

I was sleeved on October 25, I was scared as h@ll from listening to different stories and watching many upon many youtube videos and reading different blogs my surgery was a success and contrary to my disbelief I survived I stayed in the hospital 2 days the nurses and my surgeon Dr. Gorecki were wonderful he checked on me twice a day which was great my problem now is this awful gas pain someone suggested gas x strips and I'm sucking on those like candy my stomach is also rummbling like crazy I'm on clear liquids and I hope some of these symptoms go away soon I return to work in 1 week and haven't told anyone about my surgery can anyone give some suggestions about this gas I walk a lot around my house and pop gas x like crazy

  10. Hello everyone I'm new to this site and so far reading everyones stories I am very proud of everyone here. The stories are encouraging and insightful, hopefully my surgery will be done October 25th I haven't received my insurance approval yet so the date is still tentative but I pray it all works out. I'm both excited and nervous I have already changed a few bad eating habits and gotten rid of some dead weight i was carrying (my husband) but I do know that this is a new beginning to my healthier self and a brand new single me I'm always looking for new friends to share this journey with thank you all
  11. OK I'm new here will be having my surgery on 10/25 on NYM hospital I'm excited and nervous I have already changed my eating habits but the doctor told me I need to increase my protein any suggestions Thanks in advance
