  1. I really eat basically what I want, just small quantities. I too should be more careful and I really hate to exercise. I guess one good thing is that I am very conscious of what I am eating, try to only eat protein and veggies for meals and for the most part I stay away from carbs. So kix you are not alone with the struggles.....
  2. September 10, 2012 SW 249 CW 179 Height is 5' 8" From size 22 to a very comfortable 14! Woohoo!
  3. Sleeved 9/10/12. So far I have lost 67ibs. Went to the doctor two weeks ago and he said that the majority of his patients loose 75-85% of their excess weight in the first year. I am at 81% in 9 months. WooHoo! Pinky Green...shopping is a whole new experience, right!.... Good luck to everyone!
  4. My BMI was 38 and I had co-morbidities. The day after surgery my sleep apnea was gone! I am 11 weeks out and my BMI is now 29.8 which I think means I am now just overweight instead of obese...lol. And yes, it has been a life style change for me but well worth it! Best of luck.
  5. 9/10....53ibs down....can't believe it! I really still can't eat much food. Just about 5 or 6 bites of something and that's it. Antone else struggling with that?

  7. Oh I forgot...you want to know what we are eating. Sandwich meat, cheese, chicken, hamburger, cottage cheese, I am getting tired of eggs, some veggies and lots of fish. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using VST
  8. 6 weeks out and down 39 lbs (9 pre-op). My doctor wants me to only eat 3 meals a day now but I still can't get down more then about 2 oz at a time...so I have been having 4-5 small meals a day. I am just not getting in enough nutrients with the three meals a day at about 2 oz each meal...best of luck to all Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using VST

  10. Ever since I had surgery my sleep apnea is gone! Amazing! My aches and pains are also less. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using VST
  11. The only one that I can tolerate is Lean Body (40g of protein, 9g of carbs and 0 sugar) Vanilla Ice Cream Shake.
  12. I am constantly trying to slow down my eating. I will get that stuck feeling and I have thrown up twice (6 weeks out) from either eating too fast or too much. If I do not concentrate on it I will eat fast just out of habit. I find if I read something (like the newspaper) while I am eating it helps, I put my utensil down and read. It really slows me down. Otherwise I really watch the clock and try to make myself go 20-30 minutes. The thing that sucks the most is the food always gets stone cold. Best of luck......
  13. Starting weight 249 Surgery weight 240 As of today. 205 Total loss. 44! Feeling: Happy! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using VST
  14. Hi all: My first post, but I have been reading the threads for some time now and find it so helpful! I was sleeved on 9/10, my starting weight was 249 and am down a total of 44 lbs (9 lost during pre-op).
