    Any Fellow Cross-Fitters Here?

The 30 min circuit at Planet Fitness is currently kicking my a$$$$ I can't imagine cross-fit... I'll be there some day I hope... good luck to you both!
  2. Wow!!! you should be swimming!!!! I struggle with getting all my fluid in... I'm not sure about the other possibilities. I wish I had all the answers but then I wouldn't rely so heavily on this site also!! It's been a life saver so far! Best of luck to you, continue with the success.
  3. I have always been told that when you pinch the skin like that and it stays creased it's because of dehydration. Maybe try to increase the amount of fluid you intake????? Just a thought.

Day 18: I Am Just Not Feeling The Sleeve Today!

Very well said Jenipher!! Sometimes our families aren't going to understand what we are going through, heck sometimes WE don't understand what we are going through, but we all have each other, this has been a very useful support group.... But like the sleeve, it's only a tool ---- WE have to use it! Every day is a new day --- don't give up, keep the prize in mind! Janessa
  5. To FutureSkinnyPerson ---- I wanted to put like that timeline on the bottom of mine, but can't figure out how... Help????
  6. even so soon after surgery tho, I can eat a whole can of tuna (with a small amount of light mayo mixed in) ... I can eat a fairly decent sized cup of soup.. I don't know.. maybe I'm just being paranoid... I don't want to do anything that will set me back. This is my last straw, and I pray daily that this is a success!!
  7. I am losing.. I'm down 23 lbs in a fairly short period of time, so very happy with that... but really would have thought that I would feel more resistance/ restriction. Scares me a bit. I have to really rely on my willpower, which I lacked many times in the past.
  8. actually I can relate and i'm less than one month post op..... I still have an appetite, and NOTHING makes me sick. I don't eat large portions, I am still sticking to around 800-1000 calories a day, but all food tastes good. I am a bit worried myself.
  9. Hi --- I'm from Nebraska, new to this site, though I have read many posts / blogs over the last few weeks in preparation for my upcoming surgery. I am scheduled to have the sleeve done on Halloween this year (2012). I am wanting a mentor / buddy with around the same goals as my own. I am a 39 year old female, I want to lose 113 lbs, which will get me down to 170. I know to some that is still pretty heavy for a female, but I have 160+ pounds of lean muscle mass. I used to be very athletic and active and that person is still hiding within. I have many emotions bouncing around constantly: I'm excited, nervous, and most of all scared of failure -- I've never succeeded with any other attempt I'm terrified that this won't be the answer either. If someone out there could be my support system I would appreciate it! Sincerely, Hoping to see a-new-me in 2013

    Pre Op Diet Tips

I also have 4 days left --- It's been a bit of a struggle for me, but I was not taking NEAR enough calories. I talked to my nutritionist and she said that point of this is not to lose weight but to prep for surgery. She told me to eat (or should I say drink in this case) whenever I was hungry. After meeting with her, day 5 and today (day 6) are going much better! I too look at this as the final test, if I can't do this, how can I expect to be successful with the sleeve, and I am super motivated to start seeing the number dropping on the scale! Best of luck!
