  1. Had mine yesterday, you'll do fine. Sending good vibes your way. Best wishes!
  2. Surgery went well, pain was bad in recovery but was quickly under control. The rest has been a breeze really, no nausea, not too much belly pain. Most of the pain is referred pain in my left shoulder from the CO2 they fill the thorax during surgery. Other than that it been a good day. Tomorrow morning I have a upper GI to rule put any leaking and then I get to start my phase 2 diet. Thanks for all the thoughts and good vibes sent this way everyone, makes me feel great to know so many people are thinking about me. Excited to start the next phase of my life. If anyone has questions about my day just ask. Thank you again!
  3. Could you let them know? Maybe they could give me some pointers and advice. I'm feeling "out there by myself" lately.

  7. Wow what a journey that has lead me to this vary day. So many things are rushing through my head. I'm very excited and very nervous at the same time. This is my first surgery, Im afraid of the pain, the catheter, the whole process. I am so excited to finally be on my way. So excited about the future. I can finally fit in an airline seat, carnival ride, I can go kayaking, backpacking, many many things. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. Will this surgery change me not only physically but mentally as well? Will I be the same person? Wish I could see into the future. See you on the flip side.....
  8. I have to be there in 4 hours.... So excited and nervous!
  9. 4 hours to go and I will be on my way to the hospital. Yikes !!! First surgery. Wow. What a road that has lead me to this day. So excited and nervous!
  10. I hate to travel for the same reason. I can't wait to have my surgery for some of the same reasons. To ride roller coasters and rides without wonder if I will fit in the ride. To finally fit my backpacking backpack that I bought 3 years ago and never used. To never hear "but he has an awesome sense of humor".
