Good morning, now I am official Oct Sleever, had surgery yesterday and it went well. My heart rate is low, which is normal for me but my blood pressure is also low hopefully the meds will help, needless to say it was a sleepless night. Keeping my fingers crossed I won't have to stay any extra days. They will try me on some liquids shortly to see how well I do. One of my nurses had the surgery 3 mos ago and has lost 75 lbs, she looks great! Have a great day everyone.
Good morning, jillb good luck today, my family and I will be praying for you. I had a sleepless night, my heart rate (normal for me) and blood pressure were low, which meant the pulsar monitor went off every two minutes. Was given some meds so hopefully my bp will climb, they will try me on some liquids today, hopefully I will do well.
My doc ok'd me but it is up to the anesthesiologist on the day of surgery. I have a slight cough and a stuffy nose but clear lungs. Hope you don't come down with anything, I was so stressed about being sick and that it slowed down me getting better, I am ok now. Good luck
I am scheduled for the 16th, so excited to hear of everyone's experiences. Good luck to you all and keep up the good work! Our lives are going to be so much better, healthier and exciting. Stay focused, God bless
I am on a liquid/protein diet, I at least have to stay under 800 cal p/day. Have been on since the 3rd and lost 8 lbs. I went yesterday had my final appt with the dr, registered and signed the surgery docs. I am so excited for this journey, I have struggled for years with my weight. Good luck to you girls, keep in tough
I am on liquid/protein for two weeks prior to surgery. Stay under 800 cal p/day and 70 grams of protein. Wish me luck surgery is in one week, I just have a summer cold I am trying to kick.
