Ending my 3 week of post op and I'm experiencing a burning feeling from my throat all the way down, it getting hard for me to intake anything! Am I the only one???????

Hi Letia, I also had my sleeve done on Sept. 24, and I know exactly how u feel. There's been days I just want to scream, because I'm so hungry, every time I breath I honestly feel hollow inside. No matter if it water or jello I struggle with the feel of a big ball of air going down my throat very painful. I can't tell u how many times I run to the restroom a day, cause it won't down. The 1&2 week of my post op were a breeze but I'm really struggling on my 3 week, but Im just going to take day by day and I'm staying focused on the big picture:) Letia stay strong and hang in there your not alone! How long does it take to feel well enough to go back to work? I'm really doubting myself, not sure if my body can take 12 hr shift this soon. 3 weeks seems to soon?

How many protien shakes to u drink a day? I'm lucky if I drink 1. I was able to drink them the 2weeks in, but now 3 weeks out I struggle just getting one down.

Iegal, Thank u for the response, and for the advise. I really didn't imagine how life changing this would be from 1 day to another. I knew all the facts,And info going in, but now living it is a whole new ball game :)is going to take a lot of dedication and determination to reach my goal! Again thank u new friend:)

And I'm hungry, not sure if I'm really am hungry or if it's just in my head! Anything I try and eat comes right back up:( does any one have advise on what I should eat that won't make me sick?1last thing still no regrets can't want to see the ending results:)
