I was banded in May of 07. Started being able to eat any kind of eggs. Now I can not eat them if they are fried or scrambled, however I can eat them boiled and i mash them up and make like an egg salad and eat with ritz crackers and I am good to go. Everyone is different it seems.

You can add me to the list as well. I am officially down 106lbs from date of surgery in May 2007... I couldn't feel better! Keep up all the good work fellow banders!:sad:

May 31st was my one year mark. I started out at weighing 250lbs and currently weighing 143lbs. I made my first goal of reaching to 150lbs. I have three pictures. The first set is 1 week before surgery. The second is about 4 months after and then the third is me in Feb. I need to take some new pictures cause I still look way different now than I did in Feb.:biggrin:

Hi all I was banded on the 31st the last in the group!! I got to take my dressings off today and went to a store to walk around. I am really tired of the broth already and its only been a couple of days. Friday the 8th I get to get pureed foods. Mashed Potatoes here we come!! I have a little bit of soreness on the left side underneath my breast where the port is. I put on my sports bra and didn't really like the feeling so I wore my normal bra and did fine. If anyone can give me suggestions on what other pureed foods i can try let me know! Thanks and glad to be apart of the a-MAY-zing bandsters... Oh pre op I lost 15lbs!

I am about to have my surgery with this doctor and was wondering if anyone else on here has him. If they have good experiences with him and the staff. Let me know anything. So far everything has been good.

Hi all. I will be banded on the 31st so this coming Thursday. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I would love to join for one of the meetings however I think I should wait until after my surger and start to feeling better. Hope to join this group at some time!!

I am 23 and getting banded on May 31st and can't wait. Right now I am going through the Protien shakes diet. If anyone has any suggestions let me know!!

I am a May bandster as well. My surgery date is for May 31st. I have to start the High Protein low cal shakes on the 17th. I am getting extreimley excited!
