  1. Thanks everyone, I've started to get it under control. I know it's only another week and it will be more food options and then more as the time goes by. I know I'm being overly emotional and have to continue to remind myself why I did it. The worst part is the headache I have. I'm getting my fluids in and think its just from stress and crying. And Tylenol is totally recalled around here so just have to deal. I'll sleep after my daughter and pray feel better tomorrow.
  2. I just had my surgery on 10/2 and I've been doing great. But today I can't stop crying. I feel like my entire life is ruined. I hate watching tv because there is always commercials or people eating. I can't seem to get out of this funk now. I'm feeling like I made a really huge mistake. Maybe I could have done this entire thing with such drastic measures. I hate crying I have a 7 year-old little girl that I won't let me see down. But I can't stop. Sorry for such a pathetic post but no one else around me understands.
  3. I didn't have my period for 3 months then day of surgery I got it about 2 hours after the surgery. Figures lol
  4. I'm in NY. I'm just starting to be able to get liquids in more often. Started my protein shake today and finally not feeling so hungry.
  5. We are almost on the path together. I had mine on 10/2. I've been going through some depression because I can't eat and the energy loss. But I know the not eating only lasts a short time in comparison to the overall outcome. You''ll do great. I hear it gets easier lol
  6. Caved and weighed in today 5 days out and at 300lbs. Holy cow
  7. Hey all, This is my first post. I was just sleeved on Tuesday 10/2 . Overall my surgery was uneventful, had some heartburn waking up but it passed. I'm home, no pain (haven't taken any pain pills at all), no gas pain and over all feeling good. I'd say my only complaint is feeling weak and the liquid diet I am not enjoying at all. I am holding off weighing myself at home and will see at Dr appt on wed. I think I want the number to be higher than a few pounds. I'm hoping it is. I had a moment the night after surgery while still in the hospital that I thought "what have I done" and I'm having a little depression at the thought of no food another 2 week's and not having so much energy to get up and go with my daughter. But I'm trying to remind myself no food is temporary and in the end it will all be worth it. I look forward to taking this journey with you all. Stats: 5'9" Start: 316 lbs
