10/2 here...surgery great but recovery a nightmare do to too heavy a dose of dalotid and phenergan in recovery room. Took 48 hours to not fall asleep mid sentence!! That was when i was WTF but now better. My doc has me on clear liquid 2 weeks and says even soft food is not adviseable while healing. I do GNC Soy Choc as hot cocoa and my saving grace is isopure clear bottles premixed. Going to add unflavored to add to broths.

Coffee is a diuretic so docs ard cautious about caffeine to avoid dehydration since keeping fluids and proteins in check are the priority.

Then you will get new boobs, a new boyfriend, and new friends!! I see this surgery as a reset button....wish I was 23 instead of 44, but we all deserve a chance to be who we want to be. And this will wotk if we follow the plan which may mean giving up on things not working for us.... Good luck!!

ISOPURE clear liquid in bottles has 40 g protein and 0 carbs. You can order a variety pack from GNC.com -- not cheap but taste like a Gatorade so it is a nice change of pace from the chocolate and vanillas. I also do Soy Protein 95 from GNC. Buy a Blender Bottle at Walmart or Sams Club -- they make a HUGE difference in mixing up shakes.

I am terrified this won't work!! I can't even seem to lose weight on 1000 calorie pre-op liquid diet.... surgery is 10/2 and I am a bit panicky.
