Surgery was 9/1/12 Woke up and was short of breath but knew it was the gas, had a pain lvl of about 2, it was more discomfort from the gas so I got up and went to walking. Now I was 530lbs so they were nervous if I would land on my head so soon after surgery I kinda got a chuckle out of that which hurt like hell lol. (don't laugh that soon lol) The gas will move and the discomfort will fade as for actual pain I only had it at the incision points but not for a week later but that is to be expected,don't be afraid, just keep in mind that whatever you go thru now is worth it to be a normal size again. That is my focus my knees still limit me I can't do much walking yet but it will come. I am 3 weeks post and am down 40lbs as of sunday and today is thurs so who knows what it will be when I weigh again this weekend. Just keep focused on a smaller you and you will do fine we are all here for you. Kevin

We just bought one of the Montel Williams health masters for getting veggies when I am able, my family swears by the thing so we will see the blender will even make hot soup from cold veggies lol

I am using Iso 100 by Dymatize nutrition, it has 25G of 1005 whey protein, 0 carbs, 106 cal per scoop no sugars either tastes good too my wife mixes hers with Almond Milk haven't tried that yet. Can be ordered on line I use a bodybuilding site since its cheaper than the official site. I think it was 70.00 for 5 lbs

My name is Kevin, I had the sleeve done 3 weeks ago by Dr Kelly. I am very pleased doing great so far, still deal with mental hunger (which I expected to be honest). I weighed in for surgery at 530lbs and as of this morning (3 weeks and 1 day post op) am officially 40lbs down. Still run out of gas by noon but getting better last week I was dragging by 10:00 Am. I'm thinking of holding off going on pureed food to keep the accelerated weight loss rolling, any thoughts. Just found this site good luck to everyone.
