I'm sure you've all heard this before. I am 68 years old and I am seriously wanting to do this. I was worried that I was too old and then I read the 60's forum. It gave me more confidence.[/size][/font]

[font=comic sans ms, cursive][size=4]My daughter is having her surgery on Tues and I have been listening, reading and eating with her. I attended her appt with the dietician. It was very interesting and informative. Then I went with her to her pre-surgery appt with her Dr. That went very well too. So I feel like I am ready to go under the stapler too asap. I have been purchasing all the supplies for me as she buys hers. I'm ready.[/size][/font]

[font=comic sans ms, cursive][size=4]I don't have any insurance to cover this. I have opted to go to the University of WA Medical Ctr. I meet my surgeon Dr. Saurbh Khandelwal on Sept 25th and the dietician and social worker on Oct 15th. I hope I can get it done soon after. [/size][/font]
