I can't wait to get under 200 as well. It's starting to move really slow and seems like its going to be harder once I start purée.

I started off at 248 and would like to get down to at least 140-150. I'm 210 now, last I checked. My pics do me much justice but I def need to loose weight.

Hello Everyone, I am 13 days post op, down 34 pounds. I'm feeling much better, I don't have much pain at all. I decided to hv sex with hubby, well it was great and well over due, two wks almost. I was so worried I would e in so much pain but so happy it wasn't that type of pain. Has anyone experienced the opposite and do you all that that was too soon?

Today is Day 12 after being sleeve. I'm feeling much better, not in pain at all. Down 31 pounds. I'm about to start purée food on the 27th. Any suggestions on what to eat. I'm nervous that I will not lose weight as fast as I was during the four wks of liquid.

Can you describe the pain/ feeling when trying to drink something?

Well had my surgery on the 13 was suppose to get discharge but I wasn't able to tolerate my liquid intake. Today I'm all ready to go and now I break out in this huge rash on my stomach. The rash is so painful.

Today is day 2 post op... I'm still in the hospital. Not able to drink without filling pain. I would hv to eat but I'm not hungry. I took the swallow test and happy to say I don't hv any leaks and surgery went well, the pain med San going away until they gave me liquid pain med, it worked really well. Now I feel lke I hv a yeast infection from taking all of these antibiotics. Now even on the hospital I hv been on different types. I now completely dried out and need some monistate cream

Up can't sleep due to pain and I'm on morphine..

Surgery went well...I'm in my room, already had to walk. I'm in pain feels like I did 1000 sit ups and muscles r tight:

Ok so I'm not going crazy. My surgery isn't until 9/13/12.

Today I am having a very difficult time. I am so irritated by everything. I am on a mini vaca from Philly to NYC with kids and hubby. The smells of food is making me so angry. Is this normally my husband doesn't understand why I want to go home.

Well the count down is on, I hv six more days left. This liquid diet is the worst but I'm sticking with it without any slips. I can't wait until my surgery. This forum has been so helpful. Friends and family can't understand like everyone on this forum that is experiencing what I am feeling.

I'm on day 6 of my pre op diet. I can't believe I haven't cheated once. My husband isn't out of shape but agreed to do the liquid diet with me so it's a competition thing. I checked his pockets one day and saw that he purchased a sandwich. I laughed to myself and never mentioned. I really appreciate him being supportive and trying to make this fun for me. I'm having my surgery on 9/13/12 my friends want to hv a celebration the evening before, not sure if I should allow them to because, I can't eat, drink and be much fun. They said give them a list of things I need for my hospital stay so I can get some cute gifts. Any suggestions?

Was advised that I have to inject myself for three weeks to prevent blood clots.

Today is day 1 for me. I have 13 more to go. My head is pounding, my mouth tastes like metal and my mind is telling me I'm starving. My surgery date is 9/13/12 I'm very excited but just not sure how I'm going to make it thru this liquid diet. I've failed in every diet out so how can I do this without and appetite suppressants? This is crazy but I refuse to cheat..

Well today is my first day of the liquid diet, the protein shake is so nasty. I'm not sure how I'm going to make it. I just want to hurry home and go to sleep. I pray I make it thru this day. I keep telling myself this is very important and I can do it. Any recommendations on protein shakes that don't have the after taste?

I'm 36 and I have four young children. I'm currently 237 last I checked. I'm so nervous about starting the liquid diet which starts tomorrow for two wks. My surgery date is Sept 12th.
