  1. Ok not that I wanna be sick by any means but I have yet to do that. I have felt full but never really any discomfort and I'm sure I'm eating more than most. It just makes my mind go crazy!! I don't wanna make myself sick but I do wanna know what my full feeling is. Do I sound crazy??
  2. Thanks for the post!! I truly appreciate it! @grandma are you eating more than what you thought you would be able to, I am. That's what worried me and so far nothing has bothered me and I have ate a couple of things too early.
  3. Wow glad to see everyone is doing good. My surg was on 9/12.... I'm already on soft foods but actually I can eat just about anything, and it seems like more than I should be able to. I must say this makes me a little nervous. Only being 2 weeks out and I'm already on a week stall is this normal????
  4. Hey girl we were done on the same day. I've been on soft foods for a few days. No problem going down. I still eat to fast sometimes so I'm trying to be careful with that. How are you feeling after or during eating?
  5. I do not like cottage cheese. What would be something good to eat in its place?
  6. I was doing this. My electrolytes were getting out of wake. Drink some Gatorade 2 or the Powerade no sugar. It helped me!

  8. I'm 2 weeks out almost and do the same thing. I just had my hair done this week and my stylist could tell when one was coming on. She would turn the fans on. Hoping this doesn't last long.
  9. I have moved to soft food and I was sleeved 9-12. No problems so far which to worries me a little.
  10. So this is a little scary to me. I was sleeved on 9/12 and I can swallow. It doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable to me in any way! Not sure if this is a good or bad thing?

  12. Mine did not, I too thought they would but it didn't bother me.
  13. I had not heard about this so I'm 8 days post op and had mine colored today. I guess we will see !

  15. SleeveShelly. While its not advised you know your body. I have noticed some Drs send there pts home on purée food. I am curious if this set well with your stomach as I am 7 days out and wanting to try the same thing. Thanks and Goodluck
  16. What are the minor issues you guys are having if you don't mind me asking. My surgery was also on the 12th. Prayers for you both!

  19. I've quit taking my meds after surg. To crush them up makes me gag which 3 days out of surgery is not comfortable. Goodluck wish I could be help to you
  20. I walked the day of my surgery. Surgery was done about 8 and my 1st walk was about 4ish? I walked several times through the night. I even had them take my cath out since I was up and walking. I truly think this helped me as I was discharged a day early. Goodluck
  21. I'm good. Sore but ok. I walk as much as I can. I got my Jp drain pulled out today then showered. So I'm filling ok. Looking forward to cream soup tomorrow!!
