  1. I know it sounds miserable, but I also know it has the best results for losing pre-op weight and most importantly, shrinking the liver. The surgeon is anticipated extra difficulty due to scarring so wants as much room to work in there as possible.
  2. That's cool, mine is for 7am the day after. Yeah, I wish it were tomorrow. I want to have it done and be on to the healing.
  3. Hmm, might have to give those a try.
  4. Congratulations and good luck! I'm a day behind you.
  5. Yeah, unfortunately I really dislike all protein drinks. I will likely alternate between Carnation and Unjury. They are the two brands that I can stand the most. It is going to be a long month until surgery. I start liquids the day after Thanksgiving.
  6. Good luck! I'm having a revision from band to sleeve in December. May I ask why you had your lapband removed and revised to the sleeve?
  7. My surgeon requires nothing but liquids (Protein shakes). Typically, a 10 day liquid diet is required prior to surgery but for me the surgeon made an exception. 20 days liquid diet!
  8. I'm scheduled for December 13th at 7am.
  9. It is good to hear that it is improving. Hopefully it will keep improving until you have no reflux at all.
  10. Glad you made it for your surgery. I am curious, do you actually have reflux now after the surgery? And if so, did you have it prior to the surgery?
