  1. Had my sleeve on the 4th and I'm trying really hard to be positive but it hurts so bad to breathe, to move ,to laugh. I honestly don't think if eating a cup of anything in 5 days because it seems like it gets caught in my throat and chest and hurts to go down. The only thing that works is water and popsicles! Have not be to the bathroom since before surgery ( bowel movement). Everything smells aweful...sometimes I think this is the best thing I could have ever done so I will post positive comments then my body starts laughing at me and snaps me back to my reality!! Please tell me this will pass..just want the pain to stop

  3. You will do great...positive thoughts...pray always...people like to say your starting another chapter in life...my response to that is to say no...I've finish that book starting a totally different one, that I'm the author of..this is where you write your new book!!! Your in my prayers!!

  5. Medicine ball came out this morning...didn't hurt..however I'm really sore still on that side..still kind of hard to move around hurts when I do
  6. Chapstick,hand lotion and extension cord for your phone...or whatever you need to charge...slippers if you don't like socks
  7. Thanks I wasn't sure hoe long I was to keep it in the nurse didn't really say...I had my sleeve on the 4th and today is my birthday!!@ bitter sweet!!
  8. Did anyone go home with a medicine ball? If so how long did it stay in?
  9. Today was the worst the pain a.d swelling...headache...nothing taste good everything smells aweful..only I can manage is nector...pls tell this will pass...
  10. Going home...feeling much better..earlier today I felt aweful....everything I put in my month made my stomach hurt. I was dizzy and felt like I was going to throw up. Found out later that whatever they gave me during surgery made my white cell count go up really high..so they gave me round of something for two hours and I felt better..can't wait to go home
  11. Went for a short walk yesterday..got tired really fast. Was able sit for a bit..mouth is very clamy...now I'm up trying to drink 2oz of water liquid protein and Crystallight...only thing I can handle right now is water.. Crystal light is too sweet cramps my stomach. Blowing in that tube just isn't happening. No gas pains but every time I butler I feel light I want to throw-up...
  12. Surgery went well...lots of pain afterwards not so bad now....thanks everyone for your prayers and well wish...to all my Sept4 partner...first day of the rest of our lives...no regrets...live laugh love!!!!

  14. LOL so am I haven't even gone into the kitchen...LOL
  15. Hopefully not in lots of discomfort...but yes it is...I'm sure we will somehow
