  1. Oh my gosh!! I feel the same way! I was going to start a post but then I read yours!! I have yet to know if I'm experiencing full because I just am sipping all day. How can I tell?!
  2. Hi everybody!! Super excited to have found this thread. My dad is black and my mom white and I have a mix of genes from both sides.... High blood pressure from my dad. Scarring easily and wounds take longer to heal (no diabetes). Curly hair. I'm worried about the wounds taking longer to heal and with scarring. I'm also worried about losing my hair. Five days out and I'm having trouble getting in the required protein! Any suggestions?
  3. Hi! I had my sleeve done Thursday, July 3rd. I too feel super blessed because I haven't had any nausea or vomiting. My problem initially was pain/soreness at the major incision site. That's still on going but I only take the pain meds at night to try sleep better. I had difficulty breathing through yesterday; it's gotten better. I have to find a way to get in more protein consistently. I am beginning to despise the protein shakes but will drink any other liquid and sip broth. Good luck with the bronchitis! Try the Vicks mini steamer to help with breathing. When I had bronchitis it really helped to loosen the phlegm and expel it.
  4. Hi!! Veronica here! Surgery is scheduled for June 26th! I am so excited! I live in the Bronx and would love to give and get some support!
