After I had my first fill, I was so devestated, because it didn't do ANYTHING for me.... Well Friday I had my 2nd fill, and now I'm wondering if it's too tight... I read you should be able to eat a 1/3 of what you could eat before... I can only eat like 3 bites, and then I'm done. Also is it normal for the process of the food making it's way through the band to be incredibly uncomfortable? *Ash*

I find myself doing the same thing. It's like I went from binging, to being anorexic. I don't see the point in eating when I don't really get to enjoy it. I can eat like 2 bites, then I'm full, and have to let the uncomfortable digestion process sit in... *Ash*

My doctor does his through Fluoro also. You can point feel mine through my skin, but he wanted to make sure he was in the right spot. I think it's just a precautionary matter... ~*Ash*~

I think the weight loss has helped with my esteem, and that's reflecting in my personality, and making me more open to them ya know? ~*Ash*~

Wow. I have been so busy, and haven't been able to keep up at all!! I'm working ALL the time, not to mention school, trying to find a new job, and move! It's crazy. I finally got my first fill Friday, so hopefully my weight will start dropping now. Instead of yo-yoing (which is what its done for the past few months) There is no way I have time to go back and read, so if someone would be willing to fill me in on any important news, I'd greatly appreciate it... ~*Ash*~

Thank you very much. I realize just how easy it would seem for me to just walk away, but I don't think I could ever do that. They mean the world to me, and I realize if I'm going to fall for him, I have to take the whole package, and I'm ok with that. I just don't want to feel like I'm showing the younger one more attention, because she's the 'normal one' (For lack of a better term at the moment.) But it's really hard, because she's at that age, and I'm new, and she's begging me to watch movies with her, and show me her Disney Princess night gown, etc. I should probably also mention, he is a widow, so 100% single father of these 2 girls. And he's by himself right now, but I want to be a part of that equation... ~*Ash*~

She is very limited in her speech, and will randomly say things that don't really mean anything (At least not to anyone but her.), and she is constantly wringing her hands, and playing with her hands. She also seemed to be limited in her focus, the only things she would really pay attention to were her father, and the movie Ghostbusters. I just want to help him as much as I can, and I don't know how to do that. It's a very scary concept for me, but at the same time I'm up for the challenge, because I care so much for him, and these girls. ~*Ash*~

I wasn't sure where else to turn, and you guys are like my family, so I figured I'd seek advice here.... I've been dating this guy who has an autistic child, she is 10 years old. She's very unresponsive, and seems almost unaware of the world around her. He also has a very active 6 year old, who will talk your leg off! This man is not only someone that I'm crazy about, but he's also my best friend. Last night I met his daughters for the first time, the 6 year old fell in love with me, as did I her. The 10 year old, was physically affectionate towards me, and I returned that to her, but I'll be honest, I have no idea how to do this. How to connect with her, or if it's even possible to connect to her. I don't want to alienate her, or him for that matter, because I'm crazy about him, and these girls, this is just a first for me. I found myself focusing more on the 6 year old, (Which could be because she was almost impossible not to focus on!) and I felt like I wasn't paying ENOUGH attention to the 10 year old , but honestly I had no idea how to interact with her, and it broke my heart, because I wanted to so badly... Any advice you guys could give me, I would greatly appreciate! ~*Ash*~

Right now, I'm a total Dustin & Eric fan. I think Dustin is just awesome, but I also think Eric was the best person to pick to be america's player. He does such a good job of being in the action, but flying under the radar at the same time... I kinda had a feeling Kail was screwing herself when she wanted to be the 'pawn.' Because I knew Dustin wanted her out... ~*Ash*~

Ok, I haven't got to read all the posts I'm behind on, cuz... well there's ALOT, but I am so excited this morning! I have ONE MORE POUND, and I will be in TWOterville!!!!! ~*Ash*~

So far I like eggs, instant potatoes, mac & cheese, pudding, and I kinda like refried beans... I don't like cottage cheese at all... I'm just so limited because of so many things I don't like. But I'm a creature of habit, so eating the same things over and over doesn't bother me... ~*Ash*~

Ok... I had 2 dates this weekend. The first was a disaster, I don't want to go into it, but let's just say I ended up alone at his apartment, and he ended up arrested... God it was crazy. The 2nd was with a really good friend of mine whom I'm crazy about, but is going through a messy divorce and isn't looking for a girlfriend... So yeah... ~*Ash*~

OMG guys! I haven't been on since Friday morning, and you killed me reading all these pages. Well I'm frustrated because I'm only down 1 pound in the past week... (Even tho it still leaves me at like a pound a day) Wednesday starts Mushies, and I can't wait! They said I could have Macaroni & Low Fat Cheese, and I'm such a picky eater, that I'm sure I will live off of Mac & Cheese and Instant Potatoes for the next 2 weeks... I totally last suppered, which I shouldn't have! But I had a liquid pre-op of 4 Days, then I'm on liquids for the next 2 weeks, then 2 weeks of soft, then regular food. They said I could have Mac & Cheese (If it's low fat cheese) on my mushies, and I have to tell you, I am so ready for that! Im such a picky eater, so until I get MEAT it's going to be hard for me.
