  1. Hello Everyone, I was thinking about getting a revision. I had the Lap Band for 2 years and I've been having problems: My band slipped for the second time within a few months from the 1st. I have a lot of heart burn - don't want to take pills for the rest of my life...not for that. I'm just thinking that maybe it's not for me. I've been reading the posts of revisions to the sleeve but I don't know where to go?? I would like to have a Dr that has done many revisions. I also read that you might be lactose intolerant after the sleeve because the part of the stomach that is being removed?? Just nervous. Does any one know if insurance would approve if your at 190lbs. (I was down to 173 in Feb but since my slip I put on weight) Thanks for your help!! Anna
