Drinking am EAS Advantage Carb Control shake this morning. It is strawberry flavored and I added a few strawberrys and ice in the blender. It is really good!! I bought a 4 pack at my local grocery store for less than 5.00 and it is not bad at all. My pre-op starts Thursday so I started drinking a shake for breakfast every morning this week and I cut the coffee out ????. I love coffee too. It was challenging but I did it.Welcome to VST!!! When is your sleeve date?Thank you...that is good to know. I have been drinking the chocolate but need another flavor and texture to add to my shakes so the strawberries will be great.How is it going for you with the liquids being a week out of surgery?I like you am concerned about the eating without drinking but like any other habit, we have to break it!!I have two more weeks and I can not wait!!! My surgery is scheduled for July 9th 2012. My doctors office called today and said I will be off for a minimum of 4 weeks. I am going to focus on me and my new lifestyle. My pre op starts on next Thursday!!! I started drinking a Protein shake for Breakfast this morning and it was not bad at all. My pre-op diet starts on 06/28/2012. I am trying to work my way up to the Protein shakes. I like you are new to VST but I have learned a lt in this shirt period of time. Who was your doctor and how s your post op going?No upper GI is required for my surgery.
