I am going to get get sleeved with Dr. Rodriguez on the 28th. I will let you know how it goes. I was going to Dr. Pompa - Gonzalez with Limarp but they took my $500 deposit and never called me back after I had a problem with how they handled business. Still trying to get my money back and no one will call or answer the phone. I am very upset that they chose this route. Wish they would do right so I would not have to talk about them this way.

Does anyone know what he costs??

SkyJACK1 ... 1) Was it a full hospital instead of a clinic? 2) did you recover in a hospital or hotel/recovery house 3) Did they have a ICU & Bloodbank on site? I have been looking for so long... i really trying to narrow down now. thanks 4 your help

It would be great for me to find a great Dr. in the states who could do the sleeve for $6500 or less.... OMGosh.... I would be sooo happy for that additional option. You must not be a Self Pay....., cause most of the time if your a self pay .... you have to go outside the U.S.

SkyJack1, I am suppose to be sleeved on Aug. 30th... looking for a buddy and some info on your experience. If you don't mind me asking. 1) Where is Dr. Lopez and Osana? 2) What was the cost? 3) How did you feel after the surgery 4) where was your incision made? My surgeon is Dr. Pompa-Gonzalez in Tijuana, but i have been unable to find anyone that has been to her in the past year... which is kinda strange. Hope we can be sleeve buddys!!!! Thanks Aloadoff

Just wanted to also point out that currently the Sleeve is not covered. According to this link: http://www.humana-mi...ull-i1-2012.pdf The Vertical Band Gastrectomy is covered.... but the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy which is a different type of surgery IS NOT covered . Haven't seen any updated info for 2012 except for this. Hope this helps as well. ALoadOff

This is the most recent 2012 Sleeve Gastrectomy information from TRICARE: http://www.humana-military.com/library/pdf/ps-bull-i1-2012.pdf It says it does cover the surgery and has conditions on what your BMI needs to be to cover the surgery. Hope this helps everyone.
