Absolutely! It certainly helps to have people who are going through it with you - they can motivate you to exercise when you don't want to.... that type of thing! Have you picked your doctor yet? Are you in Huntsville? Here's the BIG question for you: Alabama or Auburn? heh.

Hi all - I'm new to this forum (and SOOO glad I found it!). I have done some research and think that lapbanding is the way to go for me. I have heard (mostly) good things about the center in Tampa, but am wondering if there is anyone who performs lapbanding/fills in Orlando... or closer than Tampa? Maybe Melbourne/Viera area? Any advice you all can give will be greatly appreciated!

Hi - I don't have any words of wisdom as I am also just thinking about getting it done - but I wanted to say that you are not alone in the depressed about how big you are department. Hopefully we will be on parallel journeys down the scale and into more enjoyment from life!

Hi all - I'm Mary. I just joined this forum - have been researching lap banding, and came across you all today. VERY glad to have found you! I'm in central Fla., and am wondering if any of you have recommendations on doctors in Florida who perform the lap band surgery? I'm at the very beginning of this process, but the more I read, the more I feel pretty sure that this is probably the right course of action for me...
