Long time no post, sorry about being MIA but I just wanted to let you know that Petunia and I had a baby boy. Wanted to share a pic of him. He is the best thing that has ever happened to us. We will try to be more social. Trying to get back on track bandwise too.

UHC came through for me. You are just going to have to be patient. You are lucky you didn't have to go jump throught hoops to get approved. I got put through the ringer with another Ins Co before I got approved with UHC.

I make candles, and Food Products: Salsa, BBQ Sauce, Jellies, Jerky. I am in the process of getting them produced by a company in Austin. I hope to have a finished product by October. All of the products are fused with some sort of Fresh Peppers. Except for the BBQ Sauce it has special extract in it................HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

I have little fat on top of my abs it is all on the other side. My port sticks out but then again I am still healing. The Doc said that it was going to stick out a little. But there are three different type ports that I know of I will attach the pics...... 2ports.jpg show the relative size difference. A/P II long taper.jpg is the same size as the smaller port in the photo 2ports.jpg. This is a newer port and replaces the smaller port in the other photo.

The doc said that there is a thinner port that they make and why he didn't use one on me, go figure? But I am going to have him get one and put it in this fall. It sticks out alot, I keep knocking it on stuff too. My cat Chile makes biscuits on it trying to push it back in when I am sleeping! PosiPort Low Profile Access Port

Well, I am almost healed and am going to that Dr. today. It seems that all my fat is under my abs so my port it poking out a little. I hope that it settles down. I thought that it was going to be more hidden.

Well, just two more days until I am banded. I have been thinking about all the shit I have gone through to get here. But that is all in the past. I am looking forward to all the stuff I am going to be able to have No more of... No more fad diets, No more diet pills, or any other meds, No more stretch marks, No more BUFFET, No more stress eating....................No more being called Husky,No more back pain, No more shortness of breath, No more getting pressure from my family to lose weight, No more fearing the middle seat, No more excessive sweating, No more man boobs, No more Dunlap disease, No more shirts at the beach........No more stretchy waistband work pants.........No more dressing to hide myself.............. What all did you get to quit?????? My girl said that when we get fit and trimmed that we can take a ski vacation! I loved doing that when I was a kid. I can't remember a time when I was totally happy with my body, but who ever is........ My parents are real jerks when it comes to my weight. They don't think before they speak, but I am sure that you all can relate. I am wondering when I lose the weight what they are going to bitch about. Maybe I will get a tattoo!!!!! and a Harley!!!!! I am looking forward to the experience and to getting to know that skinny guy I know is under all these extra layers. Being overweight made me the person I am today, and I am a good person, hell I am a great person. But since I know it all I think that it is time that I get mine. You treat people how you want to be treated, right?

He is just one of those people that think that there is another way. Maybe he thinks that I did try all those diets and workout programs. He would rather throw a pill at the problem than deal with alternative methods. I take over 10 meds to deal with the problem and the side effects. I have been told by more than one Doc that I am going to have to be on meds for the rest of my life. I am out to prove them wrong!

I have a blood problem that makes me have crazy high cholestrol, my Tri's are killer high too. I take many meds to keep them in check. They cause all sorts of problems with side effects. I guess that my question is had anyone else been there? I will be getting banded on the 3-18-05 and am ready for the trip but my Primary Care Doctor is telling me that I should rethink my decision. He is the picture of health too, so there are always comments from the peanut gallery.

I am going in on March 18th. I think that was a little soon but I am not going to bitch. I am hoping that once it is over I can break up with food. I am a stress eater and use it to replace other emotions too. Now if I have a bad day there will be no "all you can eat" in my diet. Cause, you know that my fav food is buffet!!! LOL Well I am looking forward to being the person I always thought I was when I looked in the mirror. Not the cute, funny, HUSKY guy the I get all the time. I hate that word "HUSKY" corn is husky, they could just call me fluffy it is the same thing!!

I am still in shock and now I am getting scared. I think that it is the fear of not knowing. My girl is doing well since she had it done. I just hope I am that brave. Well, I am off to go binge on Krystals sliders with cheese.......................haha!! J/K I am sorry it has been so long since my last post. I have been a busy BoY!

UHC is a very Band friendly ins co. I am sure that you will cruise right through. I switched to them last month so that I could get approved. I was with PHCS...uck.... hehe!
