  1. Its hard at first but youll find your own way to make it work for you. i get 30 min lunch also and it takes me 15 to 20 min. to eat about 2/3 cup of food and that depends on what im eating. 1 cup sounds like a bit much to me and im 7 months post-op. And with the water slowly but surely you will be able to take regular drinks. I feel if I took an hour to eat I would be eating much more than i should be. I also use baby bowls to pack my lunch in and every meal for that matter so i always know how much im eating which makes it much easier for me. Don't worry and don't get discouraged its easier than you think and you wont regret it. GOOD LUCK!!!
