  1. Hey Trudy...Ok, I am officially asking you to be my lap band support captian! I am very new to this whole lap band idea and have about a million and one questions. It would be super nice to have one person I could communicate with and bounce thought and ideas off of. Here is a little bit about me...I live in Charleston, SC (no one in SC ever posts on the SC forum it seems, so I adopted NC as my next choice). I am 30 years old, 5 foot 3 inches tall and 225. I am scheduled for my first "informational seminar" at MUSC on May 15. What I am most curious about at this point is if anyone has heard anything about MUSC's programs, doctors, etc.? Also, what is considered a "reasonable" weight loss the first few months after surgery. My ultimate goal is 150. Am I just wishful thinking or can that ever really be a reality for me?????
