I hit stalls at that stage but I had already made my mind up that the fat was coming off no matter what the scale said. It was never about worrying that it wouldn't come off, it was more like being curious about how my body was going to do it. I did the right things and just stood back and watched. I learned a lesson about patience from a cat I had, Bootsy. When I knew there was a rat in the house I would say, "Boot,..there's a rat in the house!" He would walk over to the heat register and stare down into it for hours on end. In the middle of the night he was meowing loudly and woke us up. We came out of the bedroom and he sat there in front of the door staring up at us with a dead rat at his feet. The look on his face was, "There ya go. Mission accomplished!" The rat was as good as dead as soon as I told Bootsy about it. Yer fat is dead, too. Ya took out a contract on it.

Not a rant... Here I am with Peter Noone, lead singer for Herman's Hermits. He is one year older than me, 65, he's a rock singer,(notorious for hard living), and he looks younger. Granted, he didn't balloon up to 330+ pounds and then lose it in a year, get treated for prostate cancer, and he has a ton of make-up on, but..dang! The biggest difference is the turkey neck..gobble, gobble. I am glad my wife loves me whether my neck flaps in the wind or not. I have no desire to blimp it out again with fat globules. Surgery is out of the question at this time. I just have to lay low at Thanksgiving.

Bring your own lunch that is smellier, overpower them. Maybe garlic sardine soup with a side of steamed broccoli smothered in Limburger cheese.

Mine was put in after I was knocked out. When I woke up a few seconds later, ( that's what it seems like with anesthetic), it was there. It was a hard choice between it and the ORAC but 20 bucks cheaper got to me. I've never had anything like this before but I am normally pretty tough with drinking vile things. I used to chug down shots of green tea extract powder and water, gut-wrenching revolting! I may mix it with juiced parsley, kale, and apple just for fun.

Good thinking, Fiddleman. It seems by the responses thus far not too many have expertise on green super foods. Alas, neither do I. Have you considered juicing? Parsley, turnip greens, dandelion greens, etc. could be juiced with a bit of apple and made into a water substitute. Just an idea I have been toying with since I already have a juicer.
