  1. Had my sleeve on December 22, 2011. Surgeon was Dr. Bryan Parrent of Brazos Bariatrics in College Station - The Physicians Center. One of my best-friends and I had the surgery the same day and I'd recommend you grabbing a partner - accountability is always advantageous. I could not have done this w/o Angie. She caught things I didn't and vs. versa. I'm 2 weeks and 4 days out and I've lost 25 pounds - best decision (since my hysterectomy) :-) I've talked to two co-workers today that are considering this procedure and hope both will follow-through and schedule a surgery date.
