No need to be scared i am 5 days out and i feel great. the first 3 days i was full and had some stomach ache but with medecine i did good. i had 3 surgeries before and i don't consider this a surgery comparing to the other. be strong and have faith. you will be ok
  6. Ellle4me were you able to eat mashed or pureed foods sooner than one month after surgery? were you not asked to stay on liquids for a month?
  7. thanks all for replying. well ... i can sip one ounce in 10 no problem. i am not sure if that is good or bad. i also can not get in all my fat, protein, and carbs. i wonder if that will slow the loosing part!! i was even able to eat a soft cream cheese and blue cheese today and i am only 6 days out. i know i should be on liquids but different doctors have different diets i wonder if that will hurt my sleeve in future! well .. it did not hurt today!!
  8. Stop Eating Now and Stay on Liquids . But you have to count your protein, carb, and fat intake and your 64oz of liquid so you don't get dehydrated.
  9. Well ... My understanding is that you have to be on a liquid diet for a month and then pureed food diet for another month then fork tender foods for another month and you have to introduce one food at a time just like a baby stomach. that is because your stomach needs to heal first before you can add foods that can scratch you incisions and cause leek or bleeding. besides every time your throw up you have to go back to clear liquids for 24 hours. i truly believe that if follow these steps you will feel better. good luck and let me know what happens.
  10. the first 3 days of the surgery i was thrilled that i dont feel hungry any more. Now it has been 5 days after surgery. I am 9 pounds down. I still feel hungry at times. I can drink without any problems. I was hoping the hunger part won't be an issue
