  2. I'm investigating the Vertical Sleeve after having my lapband out in January due to a cyst and instantly gaining it all back! Anyway... I don't even really know how to word this so my searches came up blank, but I'll give it a go. I understand that there's a LONG section of staples that hold the 2 cut portions of the stomach together. Do those 2 portions of the stomach ever adhere or grow together? Does that make sense? I just wonder because I know one of the risks is leakage, but that risk would go away if the stomach grew together (like stitched skin). Does anyone know? I went to a seminar but thought of that question later... go figure Tanya
