  1. Thank you so much for your feedback. It really helps!
  2. Hello all, I was sleeved on Sept 19, 2011. I had an uneventful surgery and recovery although, I did have a bit of nausea which is now totally eliminated. My surgeon was Dr. Iannace, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeons, Florham Park, NJ. The surgery was performed at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. I can't say enough great things about how I was treated prior to the surgery and at the hospital. I was visited by six different residents and Dr. Iannace several different times during my overnight stay at the hospital. I truly have never been treated this well at any hospital, and I have been hospitalized for two cesarean sections and joint surgeries. I have a couple of questions: 1. I am very hungry and have had stomach hunger pains since 4 or 5 days after the surgery which continue to the present. My doctor was very surprised that I was experiencing hunger since the ghrelin secreting organ has been removed. This is stomach hunger and not a case of emotional eating or mental hunger. If anyone has any information about this I would be very appreciative. 2. I have only lost 10 pounds and have not cheated. Am I just a slow loser? and lastly, 3. I have a pain that goes from my left side down my left leg which began after the surgery. Is this just nerve bruising? Thank you so much in advance for any help!
