  1. hey guys ummm gals hehe thank for the replies it did ease my nervousness.....the operation was great, i stayed 4 days in the hospital, im 16 days post VSG and its hard but im managing......just the very little weight loss is what is stumping me a bit but im persevering. and good luck to all of you
  2. wow reading these posts i feel horrible...u think losing 9 lbs in 2 weeks is hard. i had my VSG 2 weeks ago and i only lost 0.8 kg...not even 1 kg. feeling totally hopeless when i read people who lost 4 kg in their 1st week and i cant even manage a whole kg in 2 weeks
  3. so i'm going to have my surgery next friday. and im kinda really nervous, ive never had a surgery or even been to a hospital before. so im scared of the anesthesia, ive heard stories of people who've fallen into a coma due to a bad anesthesiologist. I've been researching for a whole year, so i know what im going to be going thru. still knowing and experiencing are totally different, im more nervous about the way im gonna react to the whole not being able to eat in the first 2-3 weeks, and snapping at friends and family....but i am determined that this is the best thing for me. im planning to get married in a year, and my fiance and i want to have children. so im hoping that the operation will help with the whole process, my doc said that being over weight mite be harmful for a baby. plus the whole confidence issue, and clothes...duh
