  1. Thanks for the Starbucks apple spice idea. I'll try it! I hope to look back with all the positivity that you are sharing. Thank you!
  2. Thanks you guys! I'm just so weak. I'm glad to hear that others also had a challenge getting the proteins/liquids in initially. Thanks pasquini. I just can't get it down. I'm also glad to hear that it gets better! Thanks time2Lose and countrysjr. If anyone has any TIPS about what might go down "easier"...I'd love to hear about it!
  3. I had my sleeve put in on Tuesday...the 6th. I'm feeling so week, crappy and nauseous. I try to stay off the pain medication because I dont' like the groggy feeling all the time. I can't seem to drink enough of anything for protein and fluids so I' sooooo weak. Is this normal for you experienced folks? I'm really trying to keep my chin up!
  4. Thanks EVERYONE for your comments. I'm getting nervous as my surgery date approaches. It's great to read everyone's comments and experiences. It seems just about everyone who responded is really thrilled with the sleeve. I'm hopeful.......... I also really really hope the best for you Bedhead!
  5. I'm scheduled for my band to sleeve procedure on March 6th....and am getting nervous. Is anyone out there NOT happy with their decision to get the sleeve? Are there things that I should be thinking about that I have perhaps not thought about yet? Thanks so much for your thoughts.
  6. I cried as I read your response! You are hitting the heart of my fears of failure! I got the lap band 4 years ago. I lost some weight initially, but it wasn't super significant and it's all back. My doctor tells me that the sleeve will work much better. I'm wondering WHY. They are both restrictive procedures -- why will the sleeve work better? I'm moving ahead step by step with the psych assessment, the nutritionist, the pre-authorizations..... but in the back of my mind I'm wondering.... WILL THIS WORK? WILL I FAIL AGAIN? Thanks so much for your thoughtful reflections! I hope to read more from band to sleeve folks!
