My doctor said not to use anything like that. I'm sorry I didn't ask why.

For me it is just simply being able to look in the mirror and liking what I see.

When I had my surgery my youngest two were 2 & 4. My Doctor said I could not lift anything over 10 lbs. for 8 weeks. I'll be honest I was lifting them before that. For the first few weeks I could not lift them but I was fine if they climbed on to my lap by themselves after the first week. For me this was the hardest part of my recovery because my kids love to be held. I could take care of them in every other way I just couldn't lift them.

I feel so bad for you. It is my worse fear also. I have always been able to make to the bathroom. Even in the bathroom I don't want anyone to hear me though. I am always nervous to go out to eat, but things like weddings, where everyone knows you, that's even worse.

#3 I could have sworn somebody over here told me this was a caring, supportive group of people. Actually I never do. But come on now. You did not come to this site to meet supportive, caring people. You came here for exactly what your getting and the only reason your still here is because you are enjoying it. If you wanted to find support here you would have. This board DOES NOT have a pack mentality, but your doing your best to change that aren't you!

babygrl you are so right. It is all a state of mind. When I'm in the right state of mind it does seem so easy and I think wow I can do this. I can eat this way forever. I don't even miss the junk. Then something happens and my state of mind shifts and it is so hard to get it back.

I'm only 5 and a half months out but I'm still struggling. I've been going up and down with the same 5 lbs for at least 3 weeks now. I think I need another fill but I'm a little nervous. After my last fill I was so tight I could barely do more then liquids. I was also getting pains in my chest and jaw. I don't get the pains any more, but I am also back to feeling like I have no restriction at all.

Welcome back LJM. I'm glad you are ok. It wasn't the same here without you. I have complete faith in you that you'll get back on track. Sometimes it's hard to get your head back where it needs to be but I know you can do it.
