  1. I honestly can't comment on the insurance issue, as I did not go through that. I had my surgery 13 months ago in Korea (where I am working: March 2011). I paid for this privilege, and it was the best decision I had ever made. My only wish was that the sleeve had been available 30 years ago. Please look to the distant future...not next week or next month. So yes, you are being impatient. There are thousands without insurance or the money to have this procedure. We worry far too much about things over which we have no control (speed of insurance ?). You have probably fought with your weight issues for a long time...so think long term, and that that fight may be over soon. It is such a great tool, be grateful for the opportunity to come.
