  2. Hello all- I just went from band to sleeve on 4/14/2011. I was banned on Feb. 2006. I started experiencing some issues with the band and was totally won over once my BF had the sleeve done a year ago. I asked her this question however she did not experience this after the her surgery so she could not answer. I notice that sometimes when I take a sip (very tiny sip that is) I feel pain in my left side right below my rib cage. It feels like it could be air from the surgery, but I am confuse by why drinking triggers this pain. What do you think this is?
