  1. I would agree with the posting about the number of calories in and out, especially when you take into account that the human body needs a minimum of 900 calories for healthy neurological functions.
  2. As you can tell from my profile picture, I am a big fan of sushi (sorry Nemo fans). I am two months out from surgery and made my first visit to my favorite sushi place, a place I have gone to for over ten years. I, too, have eliminated rice from my currrent food plan. I started off with a bowl of Miso Soup, and waited 15 minutes (liquid quidelines) before ordering Tuna Sashimi. Everything sat pretty well with me. I plan on trying the seafood dynamite the next time I go there. The best part of the dinner, however, was when I walked in and the manager came over to give me a hug and told me, in a very loud voice, how "hot" I looked. Boy was I embarassed when a number of customers turned around to see who had walked in. I've lost 52 lbs in two months, so people are shocked when they see me, the new me - YIPPY! Have a great birthday and enjoy your sushi.
