I have been thinking about doing a weightloss surgery for years....I've decided 2011 is the year for me as well. I too have been under a great amount of stress, also helping with care for my father who in the last two years has had severe health problems that have been dehabilitating for him....he's wants me to do this in the worst way, as does the rest of my family....I want to be healthy and I want to be here for my children...i am so happy to have found this support group:)
  2. i had to reply because i believe it's relevant....i havent had any surgery yet....exploring my options and just went to a seminar for weight loss surgery last night but back to your issue....my son had ruptured his spleen last month and spent a week in the hospital....hes still recovering and doing well but he has been complaining about a sharp pain in his left shoulder since his accident....he googled trauma to the spleen and it said one sideeffect could be sharp pain in left shoulder.....perhaps due to your sleeve its a similar thing.....i have a feeling it is....so i would not worry, but of course let your doctor know....good luck
